Summary
This website uses measurement cookies only if you accept them in the notice that appears on your first visit. They are used to learn which pages are read, where visits come from and where reading stops. There are no advertising cookies and no advertising pixels.
If you reject them, or until you decide, no measurement cookie is set. Google Analytics then receives only cookieless pings without identifiers, which cannot recognize you from one visit to the next.

Microsoft Clarity may also set, on its own domain (clarity.ms), technical cookies such as MUID or CLID to recognize the browser anonymously. Clarity records how visitors scroll and where they click on the page in order to create heatmaps and session recordings. Form fields and whatever you write in the Coherence journal are masked before being sent: they never appear in those recordings.
Google (Google Ireland Limited) and Microsoft (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited) process this data as processors. Their parent companies in the United States are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which covers international transfers. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months; Clarity recordings, for 30 days.
Your choice
The choice you make in the notice is stored in your browser (local storage, key ce-consent) for 13 months, so that you are not asked on every page. After that period you are asked again. You can change it at any time from “Cookie preferences” at the foot of each page; if you withdraw your permission, the measurement cookies of this domain are deleted.
Storage in your browser
Some practice tools store information on your own device using the browser's local storage, so that you can recover what you have written. This is the case for the Coherence journal and the Paradigm Test. That information does not travel to any server unless you choose to link it to an email address, and you can delete it by clearing the site data in your browser.
Third-party services
To display the page, resources hosted by third parties are loaded, and these may record your IP address as part of how the connection works:
- Google Analytics (googletagmanager.com), which always loads but without cookies until you accept, as explained above.
- Google Fonts, for the brand typefaces.
- Content delivery networks, for the animation libraries used by the page.
- Apple Books, when you click a purchase link and leave this website. From that moment on, its own policies apply.
- Language detection (api.country.is and, if it does not respond, get.geojs.io): on your first visit, if you have not yet chosen a language, your browser looks up the approximate country of your IP address to show you the website in Spanish, English or French. It does not set cookies. The country is stored in your browser (key
ce-lang-geo) so that it is not looked up again, and the language you choose in the selector is stored under the keyce-lang.
How to control it
In addition to this website's notice, you can block or delete local storage and cookies from your browser settings. Doing so may prevent you from recovering your saved practice records. Google also offers an add-on to disable Google Analytics on all websites: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
